Over the coming years, a host of prominent national and international artists shall, in turn, take up residency in Aquapetra, drawing inspiration from, creating and exhibiting works within the estate’s 60 acres of pristine parkland.

The Inauguration of Aquapetra Parco D’Arte will comprise:
- The presentation of the first resident artists, Martin Soto Climent (Mexico) & Chiara Camoni (Italy), to take up the challenge of sculpting local materials in a dialogue with the Sannio’s ancient places, crafts and traditions,
- A discourse on the Parco D’Arte project by Fabio Agovino alongside Domenico and Patrizia Tartarone.
- The presention on the Collection’s second catalogue, dedicated to the ‘Fragments of Paradise’ exhibition, first presented in Naples, April 2017.
- The unveiling of two pieces works belonging to the Collection: ‘Mosaico’ 2012-2016 a work in marble by Chiara Camoni and ‘Frame’, an installation by Martin Soto Climent. The works created by Martin and Chiara at Aquapetra will be presented to the public in Spring, 2019.

The Agovino Collection was founded 20 years ago, with the acquisition of ‘Paesaggio Anemico’ by Mario Schifano. From the very beginning, the Collection was oriented towards contemporary works.. Housed in Palazzo Sessa in historic Napoli, the Collection now comprises more than 180 pieces including paintings, sculpture, installation, film and photography by artists Giorgio Andreotta Calò, Francesco Arena, Lutz Bacher, Luca Bertolo, Michael Dean, Lorenzo Scotto Di Luzio, Helen Marten, Runo Lagomarsino, David Maljković, Seth Price, Andres Serrano, Kiki Smith and Michael E. Smith.
